Keep the Lizard off the List!

Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife New Mexico is against adding the dunes sagebrush lizard to the Endangered Species List. The process to add this lizard to the list could lead to years and years of wasted New Mexico resources. Listing the lizard also has the potential to adversely affect sportsmen by limiting access to the region, stalling or halting habitat improvements in the affected area that could impact other wildlife, and by limiting hunting opportunities in the future. Add your name to this petition in support of keeping the dunes sagebrush lizard off the Endangered Species List.
